Pitching Machines will replace Pitchers
See look I can do it too
I'm the only one optimistic that Skynet won't replace Lady Gaga
There's literally no good AI music
pretends most popular music from the past 30 years wasn't made by an algorithm.
Humanity will be reduced to the fleshy moniters of a great mechanical collective one day, then we'll ask ourselves:
"We never need to stress or strain, but why am I so unhappy?"
Not for a long time. Arts will be taken first, a decade or longer before real jobs
We'll see
The job thing has been happening for a while now. I don't assume you would know because you live off of government cheese
Guitars and pianos, orchestras and synthesizers is that they aren't the same. The thing with ai is it can replicate the exact sound so it's extremely likely it will replace musicians. Companies are already using ai voices so its really only a matter of time
Isn't that a good thing? People can finally relax and not have to do mundane labor
Only the most unique artists can't be replaced.
this world ends in 5 years or less, we don't have 10 years to see if the robots take manual labor too. my prediction is manual labor as a whole gets quickly becomes devalued by everyone who should be in creative jobs being forced to try to do manual labor instead. they dont do a great job, but they do a cheaper job and the things work well enough. AI gets better and better and creative jobs as a whole disappear, it just becomes another thing people expect for free, and overall quality of mechanics and engineers goes down and everything just falls apart. then true depression and then war.
it all started in music when the majority of musicians accepted autotune as just another tool to normalize btw. they gave us the whole "why dont you make your own drums too" speil. all the other effects were just shortcuts to naturally occuring things, autotune was a step into the unnatural perfect which we kept chasing and now here we are in a world with suno and sora.

this is better than pretty much everything i've heard from this board's prod and shill thread, and was made in a second
I have no idea why some people think the common man being able to churn out slop at the press of a button is a "threat" to anything, this sort of thing has happened hundreds of times throughout history. Photography didn't make realist art obsolete, in fact it only made it more impressive, you never see photographers being smug cucks and going "what a loser, he spent all that time painting someone when he could just take a picture"
good bait retard.
Photography didn't make realist art obsolete, in fact it only made it more impressive
That's a joke. A lot of the direction it took was just glowies playing Cold War games.
independent.co.uk
For decades in art circles it was either a rumour or a joke, but now it is confirmed as a fact. The Central Intelligence Agency used American modern art - including the works of such artists as Jackson Pollock, Robert Motherwell, Willem de Kooning and Mark Rothko - as a weapon in the Cold War. In the manner of a Renaissance prince - except that it acted secretly - the CIA fostered and promoted American Abstract Expressionist painting around the world for more than 20 years.
The connection is improbable. This was a period, in the 1950s and 1960s, when the great majority of Americans disliked or even despised modern art - President Truman summed up the popular view when he said: "If that's art, then I'm a Hottentot." As for the artists themselves, many were ex- communists barely acceptable in the America of the McCarthyite era, and certainly not the sort of people normally likely to receive US government backing.
Why did the CIA support them? Because in the propaganda war with the Soviet Union, this new artistic movement could be held up as proof of the creativity, the intellectual freedom, and the cultural power of the US. Russian art, strapped into the communist ideological straitjacket, could not compete.
Blah. Somehow I missed that you said realist art. Unfortunately, most of the good stuff is looked at as kitsch by art circles. Like Frank Frazetta.
retail is not a real job anon
no, bad bait, bad bait retard.
I don't think I've ever heard ai music that was higher then a 5/10, but I sure af have heard better then this.
This. The end times are here and everyone needs to accept that ai will take everything.
Photography didn't make realist art obsolete
buddy, you're just thinking of paid photos and paintings in art halls or something. photography absolutely dominated, and led to our downfall. became social media. and that became tiktok. and now the entire world is filled with far more of them than anyone worth talking to. even here, now real music takes a backseat to how hot the performer is
Funnily enough the "abstract" hacks + the "performance artists" are the ones who will be least affected by the AI deluge.

i find myself humming this one its probably gonna stick around in my head randomly for months, i call that a success
Because streaming apps are going to flood their platform with ai generated music to avoid paying royalties. Finding "real" artists will become an impossibility
spotify already has been for a while now
Finding "real" artists will become an impossibility
i get that touching grass is tough for some of you people but come on now
Yes, so has YouTube. It will be completely ubiquitous as the technology gets better unfortunately
You can roleplay all you want about your little jackoff irl scenes, but the reality is zoomers are the least social generation ever and that trend will only get more pronounced. Everyone is online.

I wish splash water on the CPU at AI Headquarters.
They’ll create fake avatars
take your meds you paranoid tranny
lemme know when AI music does good industrial lol lmao
i hope ai music takes over soon before we make anything more fucked up than this youtu.be
i would fuck her in the pussy if you know what i mean
Yes, taking our jobs is the entire point of technology. It's going to take a while to get a system that works for everybody when we have a surplus of labor but, if it's not somehow used to subjugate us even further ai could potentially be the greatest thing ever for humanity. If you're one of these people worried about ai taking your job, don't worry; your job might change but there will be plenty of wage slavery to go around for the rest of our lives.
yes, things are going well, things will never change, and all that
i dont trust medicine and i hate the troons
i've seen what future music has to offer when the coachella thread was posted here. no thanks i'd rather be exiled than modern normie
