Why isn't/mu/ a Joy Division board? I've barely seen a thread about Ian here and he was literally one of us.
Just that would be enough to have a thread about him everyday, but nooo.
You faggots would rather talk about Tranny Cobain all day.

They have already been discussed to death and they only have 2 full albums and some compilations
I love me some Joy Division
Nirvana don't have much more though, anyway zoomers in general don't like deep-voiced male singers (Interpol, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen...etc)
It was but the grown ups moved on. It's just pop now. Go fig
I don't know what you are talking about. We just had a pretty long post-punk thread a couple of days ago although it was mostly about Killing Joke.
he was literally one of us
He was handsome, talented, and successful with women. 0/3 on being an honorary Anon Babbletant
Anon Babble was the one that informed me that Joy Division is actually a live band, whose live albums and bootlegs mog the studio recordings.
Anon Babble is almost entirely Americans and Joy Division are too closely tied to dance music
handsome
successful with women
Well, Ian wasn't exactly what you could expect from a chad.
THREADY REMINDER that the best-sounding version of the Joy Division studio albums is the Canadian Cinram masters from ~1984, which have less compression and better clarity than the UK Factory masters that followed a few months later and were used for all other releases going forwards - you can get the Cinram masters in losssless on Soulseek at my current username, Rrobynne Mk. II
Got a bunch of other JD rares on there as well such as 2 bootlegs from pre-FM tapes recently unearthed, better quality than any of the official live releases. Enjoy!
I also have the best version of the US mix of The Holy Bible by Manic Street Preachers, the original 1995 master not the glossier remasters used on the boxsets that most people are familiar with, this is the version the band said they were pleased with
All in lossless, no hoarder bullshit
Shadowplay is their best song.
I'm an Interzone kinda guy.
Not bad, not bad..
Did you see the retarded video they made for it...
Official Reimagined Video
What does this mean?
Those videos are a fucking travesty

It means someone who hates the band made it.
Absolutely despicable. I hate it. I bet the other members don't have a say, the catalog is probably sold.

True but the Factory masters aren’t bad, only die-hard fans would care for the Cinram masters.
because Anon Babble is a board for wiggers and waifu posters
absolutely true.
bless you pal. sincerely, thanks =)
keyed choice. the live versions are absolutely fierce.

Ian Curtis was a chud, we don’t appreciate his kind here
For me it’s Something Must Break

Apparently they were all done by some german art students lmao
German
art student
checks out, not surprised at all.
the live versions are absolutely fierce
yeah, like the anon said, they were a great live band
I respect that choice, it's just the guitar on Shadowplay is just so captivating, it takes me to a familiar place that I've never been to, if that makes any sense...
agreed.
That's not Decades
Joy Division are too closely tied to dance music
New Order yes, but JD is always tied to the sadboy crowd (dancing is a no-no)
anyway zoomers in general don't like deep-voiced male singers (Interpol, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen...etc)
They find it problematic
DANCE DANCE DANCE DANCE DANCE TO THE RADIO
sadboy crowd (dancing is a no-no)
kek
the only good musical biopic made
What about Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny?
Incorrect.
Nigga zoomers love to dick ride the incel faggot from bcnr and he has like the deepest fucking voice ever
For me the drums are my favorite part of joy division.
I like what everyone brings Ian, hooky, barney but steves drums are just wow.
excellent flick
Boring band, dogshit singer, fans are all gay pussies
Incubation is underrated
The great debate.
They get brought up a shitton, but you can only bring up 41 songs from 45 years ago so much
Cobain was actually talented
