I put a $10 YouTube ad and it got 1k views but that's kinda bullshit bc it doesn't do anything else except change the number. Doesn't get you actual fans and the ones it does get you are probably retards. They can't into adblocking. Do you even want fans who can't do that? In October of 2023 I stumbled across some forgotten home recordings of me and my good friend Brett Vaughn playing music together at his old place in Miami, Florida. We never intended to release these recordings, nor did we intend to record them at all in many cases. We would often leave recorders running and forget about them, only realizing later that we had recorded entire sessions filled with songs, improvisations, strange ideas, chatter, jokes, and ultimately the sound of two songwriters spending time doing what they love to do most: playing music.

Upon finding these recordings I began to sift through hours of them in search of something worth putting out. After a few weeks of digging through footage and trying to separate wheat from chaff, what emerged was a 36 minute/ 13-track album that I am very relieved to say is finally ready to see the light of day.

Sing Into the Void is the opposite of what one would expect from a conventional record. It is unplanned, unconscious of itself, and riddled with perfect imperfections, so to speak. I hope you all have as much fun listening to it as Brett and I had recording it.

Never understood black metal. Grindcore also tends to be noisy but still better. Could you tell me more?
Too noisy for me sadly. But, it has better parts. Minute 12-13ish of Bleak where it eases up on the noise. And becomes a touch more melodic. Good stuff.
Like rainstorm the most.
You really need to get a better mic setup.

I liked your vocaroo song, nice sound design. Every instrument is satisfying to listen to and well mixed, especially the plucky piano notes, the wonky bass drone is cool as well. It's very clean and refreshing, I wouldn't wanna say frutiger aero since it's an overused reddit term but I think your song fits that

In 2016, the name of Gustavo Porta-Cuesta Fuentes echoed throughout Guatemala's influent ears. A 31-year-old man, a civilian and high-ranking public official, was accused of serial murder. The brutality of his actions shocked his peers, with more than a dozen bodies found buried in the vast backyard of his home on the Guatemalan coast. The victims? Young women, whose tragic fates would remain hushed up by the political power and corruption that covered up the case.
His actions, however, could not be kept secret for long, and he was finally arrested, sentenced to death and awaiting execution by hanging, which was scheduled for 2022. As Porta-Cuesta held a high position in the government, the case was hushed up and all records disappeared, with nothing leaking to the media. Even his name was erased. Therefore, there is no information left on the web about this case.
But, in the middle of 2024, I received a folder containing several sound recordings, whose origins went back to Porta-Cuesta. The strangest thing: these recordings had nothing or little to do with the crimes itself, but rather with his other identity – that of an experimental musician. Under the pseudonym "LFC", Porta-Cuesta recorded albums of experimental music that, until then, were unknown to the public.
These recordings are disturbing, defying the conventions of traditional music and delving into unsettling territories that echo the chaos and darkness of his own life.
Although details about the original case have been erased, and even Porta-Cuesta's name has disappeared from official records, these recordings offer a window into the troubled mind of a serial killer who, it seems, was also trying to express his anguish in a completely different way.
