Apparently Cryptopsy are recording a new song for the deluxe edition of Blasphemy Made Flesh with five guest vocalists. I'd never be opposed to new Cryptopsy material but this just seems so bizarre to include in the same album because BMF had dogshit production so tacking a new track onto the end of the album that has five guest vocalists and that will almost surely sound nothing like actual classic Cryptopsy is certainly a decision that one can make. Then again, they also just straight up released the last track of their new album as the second single so I guess they are not strangers to odd decisions, but I think the new track would sound better as a standalone single. Now I'm waiting to see if they do the same for NSV's 30th anniversary. What guest vocalists would you select for a medley of either BMF or NSV?

Honestly these inclusions make a lot of sense. Shadow of Intent is a deathcore project that's been going for a while, which kind of pays loose homage to the fact that Cryptopsy had that random core-kid phase in the middle of their discography, while the rest of them aside from the bluegrass guy are all from recent, or recent compared to Cryptopsy, death metal bands, so it's Cryptopsy giving a moment to the newer generation of their main genre, or vice-versa

What made you go back after two weeks? You have already proven you can do it for that long, so you could always try to extend it to three weeks, then four, then five and so on. You obviously have some kind of willpower to do it.

Once I made it to 3 months and haven't felt better, started exercising again at home and it felt great to be exhausted because of training my muscles and not because of barely eating. I always feel better when I don't drink but I just enjoy sipping beers while listening to music and just shutting off my brain.
Then I get the urge to enjoy a couple of beers and give in but it's never just a couple of beers, I can't stop myself. At least I only drink beers and I don't even get fat. Although looking like a holocaust survivor is debatably worse.
I fully admit to being a degenerate but I just can't help myself. I try to hide it from others because it's pathetic but at this point even I feel like I can't go on like this anymore, I'm 30+ already. Whenever I get into a bender I feel unhinged and just want to do the stupidest shit possible and I don't think I can resist any longer if I keep drinking.

Every time I smoked weed it made me absolutely terrible, I couldn't see straight and it felt like my head was imploding. That's the best way I can describe it, absolutely fucking terrible. Except when I smoked one of those weed pens or whatever the fuck they are called, I started to get the same feeling but after 10 minutes it went away and I actually enjoyed myself. But they are illegal here so...fuck.

Then you can at least drink a few ones for the taste, might help cope with it for a bit. Not the same of course since you won't get drunk or shitfaced. If you have the will to give it up for three months then you can make it 6 months and then a year. You just need to want to give it up and not fall back to what's the easy way out.
If you think AA is a way then you should do it, might help talking to others going through the same thing (and maybe even talking to someone who is way worse off than you are)

I just know that at this point, if I go back I'll blow everything ive worked for and probably be dead because I'm also over 30 and the last time my liver was on the brink of failure. My face was bloated like a fucking balloon from a sick dying liver and i could barely get out of bed. I don't want to relive that shit or die so I'm not going to use anymore. You should check out In the Rooms they're a really great free community with great people that will come pick your ass up and drive you to AA or NA themselves.

I have 2 friends, we've known each other since we were 12. I'm trying to hide from them how much I drink but they've been telling me for years that I shouldn't drink because they know that if I start I can't stop until I black out. Last time we went out I wanted to fight a friend of my friend who we've met and I constantly insulted one of the two east asian looking chicks he was with calling her a a fucking whore and stuff lmao. We also met with a chick who was really into me in middle school and her friend, I started to get touchy with her friend and got told off, she left, then when we were waiting for the tram I pulled her in for a kiss but she pushed me off saying we can't do it. Why? Because I'm married. Since when? For 2 years now. Lol. Then I somehow woke up at my friend's place with a bloody face and missing one of the lenses of my glasses.
Anyway I'm actually really glad for this, it's not often that people still keep being in touch with each other for so long. If it wasn't for them and my mom I might've offed myself a long time ago.
