Finally snowed yesterday, so went on a long forest walk blasting Immortal. Comfy threads and overall feeling pretty good. Found alot of cool demos and albums from recommendations etc.Trying to hit 200 albums this year. 38 to go

Second 144-album chart almost completely filled (sorry for the shite image quality), I'm finally into my big relisten of BBH and groups inspired by them/affiliated with them, planning to do Forest, Vargleide, Boreal Wind, Wotan Solv, Rundagor, Temnozor, Raven Dark, Walknut, Nitberg, Vrildom, and Svetovid and that'll probably fill the rest of the month
Yes despite the temptation to listen to some new brutal death releases, though they have been blaring the radio at my uni lunchroom so I have been subjected to some boomer buttrock and mariah carey femslop
Finally checked out Destroyer 666 the other day which was pure kino
This is the first /nbbmn/ I've actually committed to so feels good, these threads are very comfy and I add like 10 albums and demos to my backlog with every single one

Been thinking a bit about TH lately. It is obviously influential, but unlike other influential classics from that specific scene like Hvis Lyset Tar Oss, Vikingligr veldi, or Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk which are still considered the top of their respective subgenre of black metal; Transylvanian Hunger simply isn't close to the best of raw black metal. Being the first to intentionally go that raw just doesn't warrant the same repeated listens that other classics from the Norwegian scene get.

The trvth is that Under a Funeral Moon mogs it.
