I listened to the whole album. I am a fan of Kendrick, I like rap music. One listen can't do an album justice, but I am pretty sure it is shit. I really think I have outgrown rap. I am sure there will be new albums here and there I will like, but this is just isn't it. I can't tell if I just really don't like rap music anymore, if its just new rap, or just this album. It just doesn't sound the same anymore.
I haven't really cared much for rap in a long time. But I listened through this album once. It was okay. Most likely won't listen to it again.

No it really was that bad. I'm usually picky when it comes to music so I know the difference between something being just not my cup of tea vs. something being genuinely weak. I actually groaned trying to get through this album and I got so bored of it. More bored than I usually get listening to new albums. It really was such a drag.

Even going back and listening to Mad City, which is my favorite of his, it just doesn't feel the same. I liked that Killer Mike album, but even that was just meh. The most recent album that I can think of, that I thought was truly good, was RA the Rugged Mans album.
