It makes these threads feel small that there's only one schizo trying to derail this years nbbmn. In years past I remember there being coordinated attacks to derail threads and discord/instagram posers actively trying to stir shit up here.

I don't know if it's good but I've dedicated my life to black metal. Start with the Norgwegian scene, meaning Darkthrone, Emperor, Burzum, Mayhem, and Enslaved. From those bands you'll find a subgenre of black metal you like and can dig deeper into.

Kultur filters hard, that is understandable. Try more, listen to Pan, Væren Og Tid and Ledestjernens Undergang over and over until the song structures 'click', it is very well composed. Coming to Kultur after generic shite might feel overwhelming because Kaevum dob't just throw random riffs at each other.
