Was it the greatest album of the 2000s?

Was it the greatest album of the 2000s?

It was the gayest

I can't believe gerard married the bassist from mindless self indulgence and is cousins with joe rogan

it's okay

More importantly, his brother is Milky Way aka Michael Romance.

No.

It's quickly becoming one of the most overrated albums of the 00s, but still behind The Black Parade. I was a MCR diehard fan way before the critical reevaluation even happened, and I've always thought that Bullets was their definitive record. Even 3 Cheers I can understand as a fave, but Black Parade is notoriously weaker in many aspects to their 1st and 2nd offerings. Btw, the mixing on 3 Cheers is ass, and the vinyl is one of the worse sounding I've ever heard.
I just hate when people overrate shit to the stratosphere; like, why give so much attention to this record when many other pop punk / emo-pop bands were doing this as good or better as them in the same era or before? The Used? Fall Out Boy? Armor for Sleep? All underrated. Sad to see how people let themselves be guided by completely mainstream trends.

It's not okay.

You promise?

Are you people serious? MCR?

hi MCR anon

Holy shit I remember you lol. Grim.

When Gerard going to crank out that apocalyptic album?

Because it's a game for people who don't actually care about music lol.

I know, same thing that happened with Deftones and Smashing Pumpkins. Very sad, really.

MCR "Pound-for-Pound" Anon

Anything made by John Frusciante or RHCP in the 2000s >>>>>>>>>>>>>> This garbage

It was damn good and I still like it but the best of the 00's? Probably not.
Some major ones that come to mind:

System of a Down, "Toxicity"

Gorillaz, "Demon Days"

Justice, cross

Wolfmother, self-titled

You've got plenty of Anon Babblecore too:

Have a Nice Life, "Deathconsciousness"

Songs: Ohia, "The Lioness"

Mass of the Fermenting Dregs, self-titled

Fucked Up, "Hidden World"

Personally, I'll have a hard time choosing among

Frightened Rabbit's "Midnight Organ Fight"

Ida Maria "Fortress Round My Heart"

The Sword "Gods of the Earth"

Flobots "Fight With Tools"

Rishloo "Eidolon"

Deltron 3030

Menace Ruine

Faraquet

Ah fuck it, there's too much good shit to choose from. pic related is the best album of the 2000s.

For me, it's Jesu.

You're a a good man.

The Lioness? Is that considered Songs: Ohia's best?

Unironically, it was American Idiot

This

that album is so overrated

I like Nu Metal more than Pop Punk desu so not for me really. Nu Metal is more commercial than Death or whatever obviously but it has its moments. It's not a complete bastardization of the ethos the way that pop punk is. Flaw,Mudvayne, and Pre)Thing) are all pretty cool and what little Deaftones I've heard.

WELL I TRIEDD I TRIED I ARGHHHGHGGHGHGHGHG

Kid A or Quebec :)

It’s not even the best punk-adjacent album of the 2000s…

Actually facts… but I really am a CELL-SCAPE at the end of the day.
