it's insane how good this shit is. as a first time listener their run from mdk to attahk was already pretty god tier, but i believe this has firmly cemented them as my favorite prog band along with king crimson and pink floyd.
what other live albums from them are considered essential?

Holy shit, you're literally me. I would also recommend Köhntarkösz and K.A. It's also worth checking out their other live albums, especially Akt XV: Bourges, 1979 and Akt V: Concert Bobino 1981.

Stop recommend Bourges live. Even the 'restored' version sucks balls. Bobino is good, though.

/prog/, I recently found a stash of prog albums in my mother's friends house. Came across all the Moody Blues records, some ELP, Greenslade, Jethro Tull, and Frank Zappa. There were some records in there that looked pretty progressive, but I'll have to go back and check, because I'm unsure at the moment.

Stop recommend Bourges live

Oh, so just because you don't like it means I can't share it?

Thread opinion?

SUNLIGHT COMING THROUGH THE HAZE
NO GAPS IN THE BLIND TO LET IT INSIDE
THE BED IS UNMADE
SOME MUSIC STILL PLAYS

Was this band just an elaborate shitpost?

Interesting. Didn't expect to find many Greenslade fans out there.

was bernie just born old or something?

/prog/, I recently found a stash of prog albums in my uncle's house. Came across all the Meat Loaf records, some Queen, Blue Oyster Cult, Rush and AC/DC.

I had AI analyze my music hard drive, and I asked it to pretend that each genre was a political party in a legislature. It gave me one of these hypothetical election scenarios:

"National anthem: '21st Century Schizoid Man' vs. 'Stairway to Heaven'"
Prog/Krautrock: Schizoid Man (56)
Classic Rock: Stairway (10)
Metal: Writes in "Crystal Mountain" (8)
Zeuhl vetoes both, proposes "Mëkanïk Dëstruktïẁ Kömmandöh."

cute whore

i can kind of see the other ones, but how could anyone think AC/DC is prog?

like what said, sometimes, like the 3.343 quindecillion year long album, and a few other extremely long ones, but they do have a few genuine albums, most are ambient/drone, but some of them are kind of krautrock/post-rock/space rock, like the one i posted.
