Led Zeppelin I

Absolutely based.

Not released in 69

it's abbey road. anyone who says otherwise is a contrarian.

it sucks that Chicago had about 3.4 good albums before they became a ballad machine for the next 3 decades

No, but it’s amazing in its own right.

Fck no, this album is overrated cause it's Zappa's most accessible album. He's famous so people need to have a token zappa album they like

this is zappa for people who pretend to like zappa

It fucking rules despite its popularity and accessibility you faglords

Maybe if you’re 11 years old and it’s the first full album you ever heard.

No Odessey and Oracle

zappa is absolute shit.

Maybe if you're gay and enjoying boyband pop is part of your weird "kitsch" quirk

You're starting to schizoposting

not all of it

pretending to like unlistenable garbage doesn't make you sophisticated
zappa made some good and funny stuff in the middle of his career, but what he produced at the beginning and at the end was just noise

based

This is so shit I refuse to believe anyone'd ever give it the time of day.

This is so shit I refuse to believe anyone'd ever give it the time of day.

Not Hot Rats though

no

I fucking love Willie the Pimp. always felt like a pimp after listening to it.

It's the opposite.. he made more tuneful catchy stuff with the mothers earlier on. Even hot rats is pretty musical and really nice. He went up his own ass the rest of his career after that. You never even heard Freak Out it seems.

Chicago died with Kath for me, with Little One off Chicago XI feeling like a last hurrah for the band.

I've listened to all 20 gb of the zappa discography.
His best decade was the 70s and the early 80s were okay too.
He had like 5 good songs prior to Hot Rats. The rest of it was shitty atonal schoenberg commie music or boring doowop stuff, some of which was produced literally to please the record label.

Abbey Road

There was a lot of atonal stuff but there was also some catchy pop tunes all over Fresk out and Were only in it for the money.

Personally I like the Mothers stuff the most. I like jazz fusion and would like to hear his 70s stuff but he kind of just did the same 70s funky jazzy schtick that wasn't as good. Then again it seems like your tastes might be different than mine.

just noise

Anyone who uses this term to describe something they don't get knows nothing about music. That's not a criticism
