Day in the life is barely a song. I also hate Lucy.
I can agree with the other songs though.

Across the Universe

I always thought that was a Fiona Apple song

Why do people not like Lucy? Cause it’s a dude weed lmao song? Johns vocals on it are like 10/10

It's extremely repetitive and a very dynamically dry song. I can only listen to him scream "LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAAMONDS" so many times before I rip my ears off

Sexy Sadie

Below average

Lucy in the Sky with diamonds

Good but kinda annoying

Mean Mr.Mustard

Polythene Pam

completely forgettable

I have never liked I am the Walrus. It's just dumb LSD music.

im only sleeping is the best lennon song

Across the Universe is a great song, but I don't think any of the versions got the arrangement quite right.

Charity album version has too much flanger and the bird sound effects

Glyn Johns version doesn't have the female backing vocals

Phil Spector version is too slowed down

What's Paul's best songs?

In My Life and Happiness Is a Warm Gun are John's best songs, retard.

You're supposed to listen to music, not overthink it, dumb dumb.

Interesting. Have you ever seen my John Lennon wallpaper?

here, there, everywhere

you never give me your money

hey judge

helter skelter

yesterday

you won't see me

for no one

golden slumbers

better solo career

yeah i'm thinking Paul is the best
also you forgot in my life and rain, sexy sadie is mid

You seem to really like making lists of 60s pop music. Are you autistic by any chance?

True, the naked version is probably the best but it's a song that has never been heard in the true final form it deserves.

Agreed. I Want to Write You a Song is another one that got fucked over by the production.

no i can make lists of 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s music in several genres

flangers a cool effect but you hear it a lot where it sounds too thick on it and it just distracts from everything, whole goth and post punk albums that abuse it, i like to try to use it on my bass guitar vary subtly the purple boss flanger

what was his best year? i'm thinking 1966

Top 10 John songs

During the session, Styles changed a line in the chorus to "Baby, you're a Boyband too".[17] According to author Bob Spitz, this was a joke at the expense of the band's image.[56]

Holy shit

Strawberry Fields

I think this is probably my favourite song of all time. I think I've listened to ever cover of it too, some of the jazz takes are amazing youtube.com/watch?v=or0rkm6xiig

John and Paul had a monumental arms battle for songwriting while George and Ringo didn't do much. ESPECIALLY Ringo.

good john list thought its missing in my life and strawberry fields, paul list is missing most of my favorites

this sounds awful, you might be retarded

Oh man I totally forgot In My Life. That would be in my list. I like all you Paul songs too but they don't make the top 10 for me.

its one of Beatles epics but not one that is cliche like Hey Jude, the pitch shifting on John's voice or whatever other layers is really standout too

A grocery store I worked in only played covers of Beatles songs because the Beatles themselves are too "controversial". It's fucking retarded because they're still playing songs wrote by them, so what's the point?

Now any beatles cover pisses me off because of that. So FUCK all covers. The jazz one is cool though.

Are you?

he skipped through the video

that sounds awful

Midwit, its about the progression

yeah I get it let it be's a masterpiece but to me its just a really mundane song without any of the flare that excites most of their songs, still good and immortal sounding the moment it was birthed, never got the Penny Lane appreciation which to me doesn't nail the vibe like Strawberry Fields, mother natures son always came off as kinda cheesy to me especially how it develops, all the other songs especially For No One are solid picks

Anon Babble used to hate this band before 2016. you probably would've been bullied back then.

Even without the production hax, there's just something about it that presses the right button for me.
I hate shit like that. Youtube was like that for years too with Beatles and Hendrix shit, infact I think it's only been the last year or so I could find the studio version of Little Wing on there.

Bros working overtime

loved a nasty flat ass
his songwriting genius thus negated

Paul is a better musician
John was a better songwriter and lyricist

This. Sort of like Harry Styles and Zayn, they were pretty much just the two that ran the show and stole the girls (and some boys!) hearts.

Lmao he’s still going at it

I’m straight and I enjoy the Beatles
