MOSHI MOSHI *heems you*

Do you think it would take credibility from the recording if it was otherwise a dark satanic black metal masterpiece, but the name was something like "Live at Chuck E. Cheese's" or some other fast food place you could rent for your gig?

Correct
Being actually able to play your stuff live is what seperates actual bands who make an effort and rehearse, from poser chaff that relies on studio magic

I dislike a lot of techshit for this reason. Most of them can't play as fast/sound like total shit live.

Artist: Darkthrone
Album: Panzerfaust
Song: Beholding The Throne of Might

And destruction upon the holy man

Who hails a jew

Because most bands forget that you can be heavy while doing it. Dismember, Intestine Baalism, and maybe ironically given how some people look at them the Black Dahlia Murder get it right IMO.

Archgoat.

no I just think it's pretentious to do as much as possible trying to sound like you're NOT in a studio.... when you're in a studio.
Just make a clean album, you can do same themes, samd riffs, all that the same, but actually try to have clean production.
1 man bands in other genres do.
the first Foo Fighters Album was all Dave Grohl, he hired a band to tour with and that became the band later, but recording the first album he did all the instruments himself.
That part is fine.
If you don't want to perform live that's fine
But you're in a studio, trying to sound like a raw live performance just without a crowd is just full of shit.
