/prog/ - Progressive Rock general

I don't really visit Anon Babble so if there's a better thread for this, let me know. I'm trying to find a song that's been bugging me for a few days. It's an acid rock/stoner rock type of song from which I remember two lines "quest for gold and glory" and "long, long ago". I'm honestly only certain about the second, which is in a solemn sort of mournful tone; after which the song goes into several riffs. It's kind of driving me nuts, otherwise I wouldn't bother posting.

Robert Vander
Christian Fripp

youtube recommended me this and its pretty good

but there is in fact more Women that Rage

long, long ago

i think that's a Yes song, innit?

Why is Fripp hiding behind the flowers like a creep?

acting like a highschooler looking at his crush
but he's trying to look at the soundwaves coming out of the amp

Is that the Stones?

based

is this AI Slop or do we have another "Roy Jay" incident here?

you now remember The Giant's Garden (1971)

Real shame that they broke up after just one album. They could have been huge

Four of a Kind

Belew is back

Holy fuck bros

The Band - The Band (Yes)

have you guts heArd of the band FRANK ZAPPA? pretty cool experimental pseudo-symphonic proto-avant brutal drone noise Prog rock, not many like them anymore unfortunately

mothers of invention > zappa

i do not believe you are not incorrect

The Band moggs anything by Yes

he's an insecure untalented autistic ugly manlet raging at his more skilled and good looking bandmates
looks like AI art

started listening to Yes's full discography
the first couple of albums are fun, but really forgettable
nothing really stands out on them
amazing how much of a leap in quality they took on the Yes Album
Steve Howe is prog's greatest guitar player

Hey guys what's up

Back to ruining threads, are you?
CTTE is still a masterpiece, how is it forgettable?

I don't think so? Their songs are too high pitched, and rather upbeat.

Listen to PFM

CTTE is their fifth album
s/t and Time and a Word are the first two

s/t and Time and a Word are the first two

kek, are you retarded? those are The Band's albums.

Ok now you go listen to Reale Academia di Musica

Diving into Focus, what's the last good album? I'm assuming they don't keep being good forever. For now Moving Waves is some good shit.

Hamburger Concerto is their last great album and their second best next to 3, some of their later albums are good but they never reach the same heights as their first four albums, don't forget their Live albums like At The Rainbow and Live In Europe.

Live In Europe

2009? I don't see anything with that title earlier than that.

yeah

I like Jakko indiscipline.
