I took my RP80 apart to try and blow the dust out of everything but the right arrow value buttons still don't work. Maybe too many spilled beers over the years.

If it's a membrane button you need to refresh the conductive material.

It uses a bunch of these with just plastic to press them down, they still click like the working ones and aren't corroded or anything, they might have just gotten too drunk at one point.

I like where the American Performer stand. Similar to their old "Special" line. Bare bones American made, but without many bells and whistles (i.e. shit I don't really need). Vintage bridge, no bi-flex truss rod, rolled edges, etc.. Let alone useless shit like micro-tilt.
Fender did fine for decades without that and they do it still on the vintage stuff. But Performer sticks to those basics except in modern ways.

An amp modeler bro. A lot are dirt cheap. But just cylcing through amps and effects can help you thinking of new things. Same with alternate tunings.

Some of these 70s Teles age well for poly. Mad Max vibe. Overpriced though.
