why is there no danger and mystery in music anymore?
people were getting crushed, stabbed and killed on GnR, Bizkit, Rolling Stones concerts and now there is not even such thing like a rockstar

because a certain segment of the (American or 2nd/3rd-World) audience will kill people indiscriminately.
no one died at Gnr or Limp B concerts
no one even died at the Woodstock disaster ---- imagine what would have happened if it had been a different demographic
people were getting crushed, stabbed and killed on GnR, Bizkit, Rolling Stones concerts and
that has happened a bunch of times at Taylor Swift shows
people were getting crushed, stabbed and killed on GnR, Bizkit, Rolling Stones concerts
noob shit
no it hasn't lol
no one even died at the Woodstock disaster
someone did die from heatstroke or something according to the documentary.
Did they blame Whypeepo for that too?
no danger
women
mystery
social media
over-charging for water and having the event on a concrete covered air force base probably contributed to the death, yes.
I want to get stabbed and killed
sounds like a (You) problem anon
danger
the jews decided that was only allowed in hip hop and the occasional edgy EDM act.
mystery
mystique was the special sauce of classic rock. Mall rock slop like Limp Bizkit absolutely did not have mystique in any way, shape, or form. That it fucking laughable. Anyway to answer the question, rock is deader than dead so mystique is gone. Other genres exploit other aesthetics and appeals. If you want mystique again, bring back classic rock.

true, fuck nazis
study finds hyper-marginalized, ultra-stigmatized, universally condemned, and extremely tiny group of people who are mostly FBI agents are more dangerous than the black people who commit basically all crime
war never changes
the jews decided that was only allowed in hip hop and the occasional edgy EDM act.
was that in the 2000s? I'm trying to think of a "dangerous" rock band that was prevented from getting airplay or something
230 died at a meringue concert in the Dominican Republic a few days ago.
I think you missed the "terrorist" part (indiscriminate violence to create fear and terror), very different than gang violence
I'm sure cases like that exist but forcefully locking people out was not the primary mechanism - they just don't fund the artists. It takes a lot of money and connections to get an artist off the ground (especially before social media, still after social media too but things are different and more complex now). The industry just pivoted away from rock and towards hip hop and pop. They stopped shopping rock talent and pushing rock artists so it just stopped existing in the mainstream. To be fair rock was in a horrible state, but also to be fair, it was in that state because the industry had commercialized it to absolute vapid death - see Nickleback, pop punk, limp bizshit, etc.
The internet and social media
and now there is not even such thing like a rockstar
HERE IT IS
THE WEEKLY "MUH ROCKSTAR" THREAD
EAT UP NEWFAGGOTS
what "terrorist part"? I was just responding to the absolutely absurd article you posted and explaining why it's flatly ridiculous and any person with an IQ of 90 could see that. White supremacists are an absolute non-issue in the US. Black people are a huge nuisance and problem. Any person who has ever touched grass and been around blacks knows this.
People get shot and killed at rap shows all the time anon

short answer: ticket prices. High prices keep out the very worst assholes of all races. You see the same thing at local festivals as well. Gangs of "youths" used to take over small time festivals and fairs, so they started charging admission ... and you get a food coupon for the exact price of admission. That keeps out enough of the worst people that trouble is way down.
Again, nightclubs and shows in awful neighborhoods still have plenty of violence.
Astroworld plays in the distance as 10 people die
it was just zoomer rap fans, not like real people died
there are drill rappers that are literally murdering people and rapping confessions
what more do you want man
Because Gen Xers had it so fucking good they had to cause violence to fight against the perfect economy to deal with their mental illness.
Bro my life is PERFECT but I'm so angry!
ticket prices
not anymore, now they let you pay in installments
but anon you have to understand, kurt cobain told them their lives were awful and he was a really charismatic retard rapist closet tranny so I mean can you really blame them I mean come on have some sympathy anon.
The industry just pivoted away from rock and towards hip hop and pop
Because DEI policies.
Because every single concert looks like this...
damn... Manchester...
There's not necessarily a connection between the danger of music and incidents at concerts. I don't recall anything extremely depraved having happened at a black metal concert, a genre notorious for its tales of extreme violence. Ariana Grande on the other hand...
But I suppose you know this already and just want to talk about how Fred durst stood on a sheet of cardboard and instigated a ritualistic fire. I suppose that was one of the coolest things he did...
I don't think so. I think it was definitely orchestrated for the degradation of society but by CIA high up creep types, not by virtue signaling sjw types - I don't think those types were really a big influence in the industry at that point even. I also think it was just a business decision - hip hop was fresh product and much easier to produce on an assembly line than rock. The major label studio system that allowed for the development of rock bands like Yes, zep, etc., was crazy risky and labor intensive. You had record execs going out to clubs, assembling bands from the singer from this band, the guitar player from that band, etc., putting them together, paying their bills for like 3 years while you wait to see if they actually do something good, and then 90% of them fail and you have to recoup your losses with the one band who actually ends up being good. It produced some incredible music but you can see why from a business standpoint, moving to an assembly line, interchangeable "artist" model was a clear win.
hip hop was fresh product and
hip hop has been out for decades it wasn't invented in 2008 or something. also the industry was always assembly line driven in every decade. if anything it lost it when it stopped being assembly line. seriously most bands and singers nowadays are lazy as fuck and take literally years between albums. back in like the 70s an annual album was virtually an expectation and you were driven along with a bullwhip.
its way more assembly line now even if individual artists are less productive. Exhibit A. Max Martin, Timberland, etc. - big dominant producers who basically made all the music of whole genres themselves and then the label finds an "artist" to brand the music. You're right hip hop had already been around for decades but having it as the center of pop culture was new and was a directed decision, and ultimately a successful business decision.
That stuff isn't real rap it's watered down pop rap slop for white people who look like Soijack and work in HR.
also the industry was always assembly line driven in every decade. if anything it lost it when it stopped being assembly line.
Jesus Christ. They don't work 'em like this anymore.
Zoomers can't create, all they can do is copy older genres created by previous generations, and they would rather make beats on their iphone than learn an instrument. It all adds up to very boring music that doesn't inspire excitement in anyone besides nerds.
Ariana has a total of around 30 singles and that took almost a decade to achieve. Just imagine her doing 60+ a year. My god this generation is lazy compared to its forebearers.
Most "indie" bands are just rich kids dicking around they're not really serious and it's just a hobby for them.
On top of that singers in those days were expected to be a chameleon who could do literally anything you asked of them--standards, jazz, rock-and-roll, country, folk songs etc.
literally zero deaths
"most dangerous threats"
CIA high up types
not virtue signaling sjw types
LITERALLY THE SAME PEOPLE
yeah good point, maybe you're right.
