I've been avoiding this album like the plague because I feared that I would not like it because it's overhyped

cover.jpg - 1000x1000, 167.1K

Its the only radiohead album I liked

cus u listened to it??

pablo honey is better tbqhdesu

Because it’s genuinely one of the best albums ever made, despite the contrarianism of this board.

they literally talk about how their albums mean nothing, the hole radiohead thing is a joke

they talk about how their lyrics describe pencils, how can you take them serious? they are making fun of you

damn i was really invested in Radiohead's lyrical themes and the meaning behind their 90s albums

burn in hell thou wretched sinner

lyrics-wise, yes
but in terms of instrumentals, it might be the most beautiful mainstream album to ever be released

why do I like it?

Because you are a filthy pleb

It’s so good cause they ripped off the Beatles for their best songs

IMG_1738.jpg - 480x367, 22.51K

their worst album imo

this never happened
ok computer is patrician
filtered

hole

this band is shit except for Creep

because it is inoffensive soft rock?

why do I like it?

Because you're a retarded no-taste cunt.
It's their only good album.

This will always be my favorite album. Every song is great (except for electioneering), and the themes of the album are just as prevalent in the modern day as they were when it released.

Radiohead probably hates to play this record maybe
why only creep that first album is terrible I think

why do you like a very popular album? beats me

(except for electioneering)

pleb

he’ll respond to you saying that their first album is the only one where they weren’t being pretentious or something. this board is very predictable.

Maybe you're too sad to not like it.

now wait till you hear kid a

They're supposedly touring again this year, are they worth watching live? Never been to one of their gigs

I dispute this and I don’t even think it has any bad songs. Idk it’s just kind of not fun.

A fun experiment is to go through and count the different number of guitar tones you can hear. They pretty much concluded rock music through their sublimely creative use of electric guitar

this album completely changed rock music. so many artists tried to inhabit the crater it left on impact

gotta give it the 10/10 it's legendary

radiohead is at their cringiest when they try to rock
exhibit a: the bends

Instrumentally one of the most forward-thinking and ahead of its time albums. It still laps most music made, even 30 years later.
The usage of stereo, layering, and thoughtfully crafted usage of which instruments go in a track are seriously something to be studied.

I've avoided widely lauded thing and am just utterly surprised it's good

How much of a contrarian edgelord are you OP?

Im a haunted mound reaper haunted mound till im in the ground i been to every tour n got all the cds and merch and listen to nothign else

No matter how stupid you call me you will never love anything as much as i love this nepo baby redneck cosplayer

I know myself more than you ever will care to try

Anon Babblecore album

modern Anon Babble users act like its shit because its popular

even most hipsters 10 years ago could at least agree which popular albums were good. this is plain out "its bad because its popoolar".

OP is most likely a middle schooler trying to go against the norm

based contrarian retard

They’re pretty good live. Thom Yorke is getting older and his singing is past it’s peak though. Overall he sounds good but he might sound rough on the older songs that are vocally challenging.

If you like the songs you’ll like them live.

i think that Burzum is the greatest band to ever walk the earth

He sounded pretty good on his recent solo tour but yeah, definitely weaker vocals than back in the day

at the very least, it isn't as egregious as Axl Rose's vocal falloff

I think ok computer is their best album. since Kid A they started making albums only for themselves and nobody else (this really started on Amnesiac and especially Hail to the Thief), to prove that they were these guys who can do this and that and this. maybe you could call it a midlife crisis or something. the albums were still great, but nowhere close to ok computer. maybe it was a planned move to be like that, so that other bands wouldn't imitate them so much like they did back then. the only one I can think of that hits the same spot as ok computer is probably AMSP, their 2nd best in my opinion. I can't recall anybody imitating AMSP.

... what's Anon Babblecore?
