Agile had some "pirate" guitar I'm trying to remember. It was a similar idea but it had a dumb heart logo on the headstock and four unnecessary pocket screw holes behind the bridge. Their charcoal AL3200 doesn't jump out at me.

now that Kirk Hammett has a relationship with gibson they should make a guitar like his spider ESP. since it was pretty much just a melody maker with humbuckers and a floyd.

those cheap plastic switches that keep the extension in place break easily and then the whole thing is worthless, also you cannot transport the extended board so if you ever want to pack it up you have to disassemble it. Makes so much more sense to just buy a big 1 meter long board that includes a fitting bag and isn't relying on finnicky plastic switches. You can always just put 3 pedals on it or 15 if you need that many. For as expensive as the d'addario boards are I see very little usecase outside of it being a gimmick for the reddit audience.

They're cheaper than a lot of others. Have you looked? Everything is overpriced as hell. I still have time to turn it back if it fucks up though.

ESP exists

The big one is 150 Euros and extends to a maximum of 75cm.
You can get a Rockboard TRES 3.3 which has exactly the same size for the same price but with a bag that actually fits the whole board and without having to factor in that your board will at some point become useless because the cheap plastic switches cracked up.

There's also the Temple Audio for 150 bucks which is 63 x 30 cm so it has about the same overall area as the big board, and again, a matching bag and it won't crack up at some point.

The D'addario is absolute junk and overpriced since you'll eventually have to replace it.

This is less than $150 bucks. It's among the cheapest boards. I don't know what the prices are for you, but you're just telling me to pay more money for something that's just bigger and I don't need (yet).
Same goes with power supplies out there. A lot of it is more expensive. Some with less power draw than even D'addario's. And D'addario can be battery powered. This is cool as shit.
D'addario might be a big name, but they have no footing in this market and seemed to have underpriced. It's like how Fender has made some great acoustic amps, but they have zero presence in acoustics. So they've undercut the Fishmans and Bosses and all that stuff.

it's just a 1x6' pine board. you keep the 1' dimension and trim the 6' one to length. all you need is a handsaw (even a hacksaw would work). most hardware stores sell carpet by the yard for pennies on the dollar

I bought the small version when it launched and immediatly sent it back after touching the hitch. You'll see what I mean when you get yours. Everything is metal and heavy and then there's this little thing that feels about as sturdy as a guitar pick.
