The only explanation I could come up with as to why this spam is allowed to exist is because there is very little traffic on this board anyway, so if they started banning excess kpop slop threads, the traffic would be reduced even further. But frankly I don't see a problem with that. There's plenty of board with small traffic that exist, and as long as the traffic to Anon Babble in general isn't too badly affected, it also shouldn't affect the bottom line.

I mean we've had at least 20 people in the threads just yesterday/today who feel as strongly about it as I do. The people are there it's just a matter of organizing them

I've seen evidence on other boards that mods/admins still care about and love this place. Personally I love the older city pop type of J-pop, I think typically it just gets discussed under "Japanese Music" threads. I don't think we've ever had a J-pop general. I think the idol discussion happens on Anon Babble as well.
