Stained is the only decent one we haven't heard yet. They should have given it a music video instead of Two Faced.
Stained probably sits with Over Each Other and Cut The Bridge as one of my least favorites. It felt like a One More Light salvage attempt.

I don't even remember hardly any of it. Was that the heavy one? I remember there being a heavy one that was kind of like One Step Closer or Papercuts but with a really lame chorus.

I don't wanna be that guy but Two Faced's chorus melody took a little from Paramore.
I'm listening to it for the second time and my main gripe is it's way too poppy. I can't stand the background chants on Cut the Bridge but it is catchy. On Heavy is the Crown now and it's not bad but I actually wish it was MORE poppy, like there are a few parts where I expect the melody to go in a different direction and the one heavy part where Emily screams is just really trite and boring sounding. The backing track is cool tho.
listening to two faced again 10 minutes ago, I was thinking the exact same thing, and pulled up Caught in the Middle to compare. My conclusion was that the "caught in the middle" lyric is sung similarly, but that's about it. It wasn't as similar as I was thinking in my head.

Okay, I'm just going to say it. This is actually worse than One More Light. At least that album had a couple decent moody tracks (Nobody Can Save Me, One More Light). This is just an utterly soulless radio pop rock rehash with only one good song (The Emptiness Machine). Easily their worst.
nah. While I agree at least half of the songs aren't great, the other half are at least fine/great, which automatically makes it their best album since Meteora

There's zero chance this gets a worse reputation than One More Light, not a high bar to clear
I like the heavier sound but it's hard to take Emily seriously, she feels like a child playing pretend in her mannerisms and incredibly also in her vocals. Chester was also cringekino so maybe it's par for the course. She is very cute though
