Arguably, and hear me out here, there is more reason to consider a Maroon 5 fan as 'braindead' 'sheeple' than any of the bands you've mentioned. Yes, there are those who feign interest in bands to seem more interesting, but those who genuinely like a band as uninteresting as Maroon 5 would be even worse. Not only that, but the number of 'braindead' King Crimson fans would undeniably pale in comparison to the number of Maroon 5 fans who could be described the same way, even if only because there's a much larger number of people in the latter, and so statistically a certainty that a sample of that group would contain such people. All that being said, I agree that Death Grips is not a good band, but that has nothing to do with whether or not Maroon 5 and their fans are any good either. Many would make a compelling case that they are also quite awful. On a side note, please satisfy my curiosity: what are you doing on this board? What are your other favorite bands?
