This thread is for discussion of the commonly observed phenomenon of gen Y and gen Z white males adopting black musical tastes such as hip hop in the (usually subconscious) hope that some day a black person might notice or care.
The primary cause of this mental disorder is a lack of strong white father figure in the home, leading young white males to seek out black rappers as proxy masculine role models instead. This usually involves the adoption of other black mannerisms such as imitating their speech, their fade haircuts, adopting their values or feigning their interest in sneakers and jewellery. The underlying fantasy behind all this, the pay off they imagine will come, is that a “cool black guy” will one day take notice and acknowledge them for being “one of the good white people”. What makes white rap fandom a syndrome and legitimate mental illness is their sad and disturbing inability to realise that this imagined pay off never actually comes. For all their years of effort and investment in being the biggest cuck ever, not a single black person has ever noticed or cared, and never will. That is what makes being a white rap fan deeply sad and why their loved ones should always seriously consider staging an intervention in order to prevent further loss of dignity.
