JEALOUSY

lol

The most normalfag board created a list of critically acclaimed albums that normalfags are aware of

I am shocked. Shocked! Well not that shocked.

normalfags don't listen to Burial. Untrue just gets a lot of acclaim because it's good

whats the one on the top right

Not saying any of them are necessarily bad, just that they're critically acclaimed albums normalfags are familiar with. And yes Burial is very well-known these days.

Metalcore pop-punk post-hardcore

ok thanks but it doesn't sound like anything i would like at all lol.

Acceptable I suppose. Surprised to see Burial. Never met a normalfag that knew what that was while the rest range from recognizable to expected.

none of these albums should be critically acclaimed. if anything i think these are some of the worst 2000s albums

more like most overrated albums of the 00s

Untrue is quite possibly the best EDM album. Zoomers don't realize how much it influenced modern music

That's just being reactionary, the 00s were full of awful shit that's way worse than anything here. Especially the last few years.

There were definitely way, way worse

deleting.jpg - 1000x1000, 263.93K

The amount of depth of Untrue textures and tones is also crazy, its like a tactical experience

if anything i think these are some of the worst 2000s albums

Lmao no, I find them overrated but the worst? Not even fucking close. At least they all of competent production.

burial and daft punk are good picks but the rest are clearly from people who don't really care about albums as an artform and are easily swayed by nostalgia and mainstream appeal. Graduation is the perfect example - a fine but messy album that most kayne fans think is a step down from his previous two, but which normies like more because it had more crossover hits. burial is really the only one that isn't "I was ten when this one came out" -core

Anon Babble is essentially just edgy reddit and that's unfortunately what Anon Babble is becoming as well

Burial is lo fi hip hop tier "nostalgic" garbage for redditors

I downloaded this one thinking it was BMTH in 2018 wtf

Yes and Pink Floyd is post hardcore tier trash. Since we're just now calling acts whatever we want I decided that and it is so.

DOWNFALL OF US OOOLLLL

Stronger compares fake blacks and blackface to Klondike bars. Fucking genius.

Be serious

Replace that Burial shit literally no one has ever heard with Franz Ferdinand and then the chart is perfect.

when I say it's "lo fi hip hop tier" I'm talking about its appeal, not saying burial is lo fi hip hop (which is obviously not true). Burial is "vibey" bullshit for people who masturbate to epic aesthetics like pic related and watch AMVs, musically he's more like if you took dubstep and garage and crossed it with sewerslvt

images.jpg - 225x225, 13.68K

Without Apex Twin there probably is no Untrue or Burial. He took looped dance music and made it into something else

I think you should go back there with the other subhumans.

Nostalgic?

These are best albums not best one hit wonders of the 00s.

Absolute dogshit

setting ambience is now troony shit

Based retard

If we are speaking with complete and absolute honesty, all of the albums with the exception of Daft Punk's are great in their own ways, but if I had to weigh and size up each and every one of them, then compare each and every one of them, pound-for-pound, and objectively, fairly analyze them with an eye for avoiding bias at all costs in order to arrive at a logical, comprehensive and fully impartial and unprejudiced decision, I would pick Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, and with a very good, nearly certain possibility, bestow it the lofty title of greatest album of the 2000s, though such a decision would obviously and assuredly be reached only by another lengthy, impartial and completely honest analysis of the album.

i enjoy tcd more as an album than graduation, graduation had bigger hits however

L for transphobia, and the "ambience" and melodies found in Burial's shitty music are comparable to sewerslvt. again, it's not just "ambience" in general, it's le vibey somber ambience for people who jack off over ps1 aesthetics. keep making whatever excuse you can to pretend your taste in music is different from a sewerslvt fan's (it isn't) though

le vibey somber ambience

Sounds great, thanks for all the recs.

no problem, you might wanna check out r/music too

Nah I don't like Reddit, thanks anyway.

that doesn't make any sense

give it a try, sure you can't be freakin' based and edgy but most of the users there have similar interests to you

work with some zoomers at work

they thought Hot Fuss came out in the 90s

Kek

All good except top right.

your post made me gouge my eye out, thanks.

Nah

Ok retards what you guys consider the best albums of the 2000s then?

American Idiot

L except for When September Ends
