Literally ANYBODY can upload their music onto Bandcamp. It is the bottom feeders way of finding new music, it's completely and utterly infested with trash.

Apartments got smaller, HOAs got stricter, law requires kids to have more supervision even when they're 17, no more walking over to Steven's house every day after school to write some songs, when you're adult there's traffic or if you live in NYC then you can't afford the noise complaints if you have a drumset, also you're terrified that you're wasting time while everyone else is outsprinting you financially and you'll never impress a woman enough to convince her to love you if you spend more time on foolish pursuits like music.

I'm going to be completely honest, I searched through bandcamp a lot this past week. Few hours a day in my free time, just listening to music from new artists and trying to digest new music.

It's all really bad. Like, not terrible, but it's just stuff that's already been done better from past artists. A lot of new artists are just redoing what past artists have done, musical innovation has died. Nobody is really merging genres anymore, it's just cookie cutter stuff.

Me and my bad had our first few sessions at the end of the summer. Most of the time we forgot to practice along to our favorite songs and just liked jamming out a lot.
Sounded great, was great, is great. Hopefully we can release a song or two sometime.
