Nice bluesy tune man

Gibson didn't invent humbuckers. None of the rest matter except the semi hollow.

Past a certain volume, can they really sound so different from one another?

I would like to play like Mark Lettieri but I don’t have any talent whatsoever

Saw picrel earlier, wowza what a sexy finish. Also has a back cut which should be the norm on all modern Teles.

Whenever I see a Tele I feel like becoming a bass player instead, eww

Are Edge III bridges essentialy crap?

I've got a "frankenstein" Ibanez RG that is basically a RG470MHZ with a 370DX body, with a Edge III installed. It's fresh out from the luthier and plays great.
I've also got a spare Lo-TRS Trem II. However, the luthier said that "it was essentialy the same than the Edge III" and just fixed the Edge III that was already on the guitar.

Is my luthier right? Also got any tips for tuning this shit?

Have a Dv Mark jazz amp rn. Looking to trade it in for either effects processor like Boss GT1 with Headrush GO. Also considering Spark 2, but I just need something for bedroom practice and am playing stuff like Yorushika/Zutomayo. Any suggestions

Tell me about the Italian amp brands

They-a make-a the noise-a

Italy is like a lesser Japan. Trying to keep rock alive, but not as well.

If you're tall, you're better off with something that goes past 55".

Red 7 was the name of the band who did two songs for the movie Manhunter.

Not bad, but kind of stock

Sounds like a Ferrari

headin over to the store later to grab one, which ones to look for?

16th notes clean at 150 but sloppy at 160. What’s going on exactly?

Finger input lag

Buddy recommended them 15 years ago and I never really tried anything else. I have a set of Elixirs in the same gauge though, guess I'll try them some day.

I use the pink ones dude to carpal tunnels

DV Mark is great, that's it

I wanna replace some stock pickups but how do you choose? There's hundreds.
Do you just buy anything popular and hope for the best? I'm thinking these ones.

I like Korg

Passive ones they all sound the same
Active ones sound slightly different
Most people just hear the brand name

Passive ones they all sound the same

If they're humbuckers, kind of. I didn't want to really say it first...

I fully believe people just choose pick ups based on much output they want due to lack of meaningful comparisons

They are mostly wires spun around magnets, but there are free things that define pickup. I'm no connoisseur, but pickups with higher output sound louder, and pickups with higher resonance peak sound more trebly. But sometimes, like between twangy wide range humbuckers and something like those trebly metal high output humbuckers, they may be the same thing to me, but more knowledgeable players will hear a big difference.

Sure, it's not a bad idea to stick to a popular brand like Seymour Duncan. One benefit is that there are tons of reviews and demo videos so you can get a good idea of what it will sound like. To pick a model, I recommend you first get a general idea of what kind of sound you're going for and then look for a pickup that covers that tonal ground. Look it up on youtube, listen, compare, and buy the one that sounds best.

I'm sorry bro we're mostly Telefags here, likely none of us know shit about a floyd

I have a floyd rose on one guitar, and still staying out of this cause I don't know shit about ibanez in general and edge iii in particular.
